I would add The Rolling Stones by Heinlein, and The Midwife’s Apprentice by Karen Cushman. The first is Science Fiction and the second is Historical Fiction. Enjoyed reading through the list and seeing how many I have read. Currently my children and I are reading through the fifth book of Narnia and are reading books about the journey west in our homeschool. A bunch of good books on self-reliance in there.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to offer suggestions. I haven’t started repeating authors yet, but Rolling Stones is a good possibility at that point. The Midwife’s Apprentice is now on the to-read list. Thank you!
